Sales Terms & Conditions

  1. Account Opening: No account shall be opened unless all particulars have been verified in writing.

  2. Payment Terms: Accounts are strictly 30 days from the date of invoice.

  3. Ownership of Goods: All goods shall remain the property of Bonnyrigg Tiles until paid for in full.

  4. Cancellations and Returns:

    • A 20% handling charge applies to all cancellations and returned goods.
    • Returned goods must be received within 14 days from the date of the original invoice.
    • Tiles returned must exceed 3 boxes.
    • Goods must be in their original cartons, unopened, and accompanied by an invoice number.
    • Returned goods must match the tonality of stock and be in resalable condition.
    • The responsibility and cost of returning goods for credit are solely that of the customer.

  5. Pre-Installation Check: It is the customer's responsibility to check all goods prior to installation to ensure correct color and batch/shade.

  6. Limitation of Claims: No claims will be accepted once materials have been fixed or tiles are laid.

  7. Inspection upon Delivery: All goods must be inspected upon delivery or pick-up; no claims will be entertained after receipt.

  8. Crazing Disclaimer: Bonnyrigg Tiles does not guarantee against crazing, which is classified as traditional within the trade.

  9. Exclusions: Returns are not accepted for goods purchased during a sale period or on special.

  10. Variations: Bonnyrigg Tiles accepts no responsibility for variations between samples shown and actual tiles supplied.

  11. Installation Guidelines: Goods must be installed strictly in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, relevant Australian Standards, or any provided guidelines. We are not liable for goods failure resulting from the customer's failure to comply with this requirement.

  12. Qualified Installation: We recommend customers employ the services of a qualified tradesman for installation, even if a specific tradesman was recommended by us.

  13. Pick-up Timeframe: All goods must be picked up within 60 days of arrival, as notified upon arrival.

By proceeding with any transaction with Bonnyrigg Tiles, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Bonnyrigg Tiles reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
